Hi Arpita, Many colleges and universities requires minimum 45%-55% marks for applying in UG or PG courses respectively. Generally, they ask current affairs and general English including regional language based questions.

Hi Sneha.
My suggestion for you is to complete your graduation course. After that, if you want to do the Journalism course, then apply for Master's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication in University of Mumbai.

UG Degree | Full Time | Duration - 3 years
Candidate must have passed 10+2 in English medium, candidates who have not studied in English medium must have completed IELTS (International English Language Testing System) level 6.

First Round: You will have to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). It has already started in most ip colleges already u can apply their by giving an entrance test of ip university to get the college of your choice. After giving aptitude test you have to give personal interview. Please direct contact the university official website for more information.

There isn't any major difference, per se. Both are more or less the same subject. Media Science is related to the formulation of new techniques and formulas. The validity may be testified as science always proved what is said. Whereas, Mass Communication is related to the application of such principles and formulas for solving problems which prevail in the society.
