Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC), run by Mahavir Education Trust, does not provide hostel facilities for its students on campus. However, it is possible to avail ready-to-move paying guest (PG) accommodations close to the college at reasonable costs with different options available. Most of the students are able to find comfortable places to stay within the vicinity of the campus, and the institution offers assistance in finding such PGs whenever required.

The faculty at SAKEC is qualified and experienced faculty where within the majority of the faculty 70% contain postgraduate degrees of education and Polytechnic of the few possessing Ph.D. About 5-10 years of teaching experience is possessed by most of the faculty members who participate in research and development activities as well as the publishing of books and articles. For B.E./B.Tech at SAKEC, candidates must appear for the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or JEE Main as the admission are done through these exams only. However, SAKEC also gives institutional scholarships to the brightest students in which the amount granted is mostly partial fee remission rather than full fee exemption.

SAKEC accommodation also has sound campus amenities which entail a library with more than thirty-seven thousand books and other electronic resources. Infrastructural facilities available are modern laboratories, Wi-Fi facilities, and research-oriented facilities. Total classrooms include 50+ classrooms and all of them have audio visual equipments. SAKEC also contains sports facilities like gym, in order to ensure students' health and the university pays much attention to security, there are 24/7 CCTV systems.

SAKEC has a decent placement record outsourcing the placements to a placement officer for both graduation and post graduation. The highest salary scale tends to be Rs 12 LPA while the average salary scale is Rs. 4-5 LPA. Most of companies including TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini and Wipro prefer this college for campus recruiting. The total placement percentage on average is observed between 70-80%. However, more specific data can be significantly different from year to year, as well as depending on the branch of engineering.
