Yes, you need to prepare well for any entrance to get admission in any government college for mass communication in India. The question paper includes 4 parts each part having 25 question each:
1) Media aptitude
2) Logical reasoning
3) General awareness
4) English comprehensive and literature
So, prepare accordingly, for scoring well in the entrance exam of mass communication get in touch with the current affairs and start reading newspaper that will help you aware about current affairs.

Hello,
Likitha Migration is possible only within universities after the completion of first year only with lots of paperwork to be done.
You will need various documents from both the college you are in and from the college you aspire to get in.
It is possible but it will be advisable to start again if you want to change your university.
Moreover, you need to search the procedure of migration of your college and the college you want to go in as different colleges have different procedures.

Hey,
You don't have to study hard but you have to study smart for the entrance exam. The question paper is divided into 4 sections. The topics come under
-English:
Reading comprehension, fill ups, idioms, synonyms and antonyms
-General Awareness:Current Affairs and GK
-Reasoning:
Logical Reasoning, Analogies, Blood relations, series, venn diagrams
-Media Aptitude:
GK related to media and history.
I suggest you to focus more on English and reasoning because they are scoring sections.
