Women of 21st century have conquered the world with their intelligence, elegance and determination. Time has changed and it's time to come out of our 1800s mind set regarding gender specific jobs. Now, I want you to question yourself, how aware you are about the field of mass communication. If you think this career path will be all about Reporting and Television glamour, then you must know it has much more to offer. It encompasses various streams such as Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Event Planner, Editing and so on and so forth. Not everyone who is associated to this field has to travel or has to be the face of camera; there are domains that require you to remain seated at your desk. Some says that introverts should not apply in this field. However, that is just a myth. If you are someone who can think out of the box, have flair of writing, good command in language, and even if that means you are an introvert, you can still look forward and become part of this field. Yes, you may face some difficulty as every field now a days requires a person to interact irrespective they have to go outdoors or not. But, work domain of an editor is limited to his/her computer and their ability to evaluate things critically. Although, this field is best suited for extrovert. If you are someone who likes to interact with others, are spontaneous, flexible and loves to travel then voila! You should not be giving a second thought before joining this field. So good and bad entirely depends on the selection of your work arena. Even though interest is important factor to decide your career path but you must not ignore other factors such as your personality, aptitude and ability to handle novel situation.
