You must have excellent academic grades and also very good extra-curricular activities. Overall you must show all your qualities and what qualifies you as an applicant. Ask yourself why MIT will admit you and prepare your profile. Apart from these, you must take tests like SAT or GRE depending on what you want to study, you did not mention if you are looking for UG or PG programmes.
