Hello Vartik Raina, there is no set formula for seeking admission into University is abroad for undergraduate studies. But remember that only best academic performance will not get you admission, since they invariably look for all round performance of the student. In view of this I would like to strongly recommend that you should approach an agency which is dealing with sending students abroad and particularly to this university for undergraduate studies. This is so since they would know all the requirements that a student must fulfill before making a successful attempt. Best wishes to you.

It is not necessary. This is because for none of the US Universities the admission is based on result of a single examination. It is just that their admission criteria is broader, and takes into consideration a wide range of parameters, such as extracurricular performance, leadership qualities, passion, etc. People who get selected based on their JEE rank, maybe it is because of their overall profile as they would have qualified Olympiads and all. So, it all depends on the overall performance of the student.
