It always depends upon you. If you are interested in Foreign Trade then you must appear for IIFT and if you are interested in doing specialisation in some other feild like marketing, finance, etc., then MAT should be your first priority. But on the other hand, MAT is conducted four times a year, so it is wise to appear for IIFT now and then appear for the next MAT exam. It's a safe-sided game where you lose no opportunity. So, think before you take any action.
Best of luck for your exams.

Yes, it has most of what a MAT exam needs provided you take every example and solve it by your own. R. S. Agarwal is mostly preferred overall because the level of understanding for students is very good. It is basic book to study Aptitude, Quantitative and Qualitative, etc. MAT is a normal exam you just need to study little more with RS Agarwal book. However, don't make any assumption that your exams questions will come from RS Agarwal book but that type of examples will be there.
First, analyse the syllabus of MAT and Identify which topic you need to prepare then opt the book and read, solve what is there in RS Agarwal. You will sure

First, decide yourself what you want to do MBA or job, because if you are planning for a good college then I would rather suggest you to study for CAT exam with complete dedication of taking admission this year. CAT needs a lot of practice and study to get admission in good colleges. If you waste time in deciding these confusions you will not able to give CAT exam at good stage. So I would suggest start preparing for CAT entrance exam with complete dedication and Self-motivation. Then if you get a very good score go for TOP MBA colleges to complete your goal and if unfortunately you couldn't able to crack CAT exam then you can go for a

There is no definite answer to your questions. Difficulty does not have levels. If you can understand something in education then it is not difficult otherwise everything is difficult. So better focus on what you study and learn it perfectly so that you can enjoy your education.
