Hello Mridul,
I am assuming that you are talking about the syllabus of MAT & SSC. Then not really, they are not same. Only a couple of chapters in Quant. mostly Arithmetic chapters are same. Moreover, the questions of Arithmetic are also quite different in both exams.
I will not talk about the level of difficulty, since it differs for every person.
Find some previous year question papers of both SSC & MAT then compare.
Good luck.

Hi,
There are many MBA colleges in Bengaluru & are growing like mushrooms in every nook & corner of Bengaluru.
So the fact is that even you just attend the MAT exam itself you can apply to any MBA colleges without even considering your score
But it is not same for prestigious & reputed institutes in Bengaluru.
For eg: In Christ University, you have to score minimum 600 in MAT then only they will admit you for MBA.

MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September, and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. BA, B.Sc., B.Com, B.Tech, etc.) can also appear provisionally. You are advised to appear for Dec. or Feb. MAT to seek admission in June 2018.
