CMAT - Common Management Admission Test by AICTE
MAT exam:
MAT Exam is conducted four times in a year in the months of February, May, September and December. It is an online test with its scores valid for 1 year. Applicants have to register online only however submission can be made offline as well.
CMAT exam:
CMAT Exam is conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education for the admissions to those colleges which are approved by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. Applicants have to apply online for the CMAT exam and its exam is conducted in the month of January with its last date

MAT will be considered for Galgotia University. Preference will be given to CAT/Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)/MAT/Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). The minimum graduation requirement is 60% but you can apply for direct admission to Galgotia University. You should be able to get admission with such a good score in MAT. CAT and MAT both are MBA entrance examinations.
Both have almost the same syllabus. Just that the difficulty level of MAT is lower than that of CAT.
CAT is usually taken by students to get into IIMs.
Apart from IIMs, CAT percentile is accepted in almost all the colleges.
Same is not the case with MAT.
