To get admission into any good B-school, one must appear for the entrance exam(s) whose score is considered by that particular B-school for its further interview process. So it is impossible to get admitted into a top B-school without appearing for the various entrance exams like CAT, XAT, etc.

It is totally dependent upon the career you want to pursue for the rest of your life.
Getting a management degree from an average college and then getting into managerial roles in corporate-sector, or, clearing banking exams and then securing positions like Probationary Officer.

Hello Prakriti,
As far as I've heard, one can take GMAT as per one's convenience. The CAT notification has been released yesterday, kindly check on their official site. For other exams, there are no notifications as of now especially of SNAP, CMAT and XAT (they are held in Dec-Jan).

With this score, I think it will be difficult to get admission in Tezpur University. But do check with the college once.
