If you have already been qualified in MAT you don't have to attend Gitam Online Test(GOT) , but can directly attend group discussion and personal interview. If you haven't got a minimum CAT or MAT score , you are required to attend GOT followed by Group discussion and personal interview. You can start applying now online . I'v no proper knowledge regarding the college in Hyderabad but i only know that the campus in Vizag has got a better reputation and to the best of my knowledge majority prefer to get into the campus that is in Vizag . I cannot state reasons why Vizag campus is preferred , but i can explain why in Vizag is Gitam only preferred to get an MBA degree. If you really are willing to work hard , Gitam is the best option only if you choose to join a college that is in Vizag . There is nothing like Gitam in Vizag ! You are given exposure to various things like presentations , club activities (provided you utilize the opportunity) , organizing fests , group discussion activities in class. Students also get to meet with famous businessmen in person and get clarified their doubts face to face in the guest lecture sessions etc. You even have extra courses if you are interested to join like risk management for which you are certified and that adds an advantage to your resume . You have credit based courses such as BEC. They offer placements till the end , but it all depends on us to crack the interview. Although whatever taught is not to the level of IIM standards it fairly provides good knowledge . But you have to work really hard as they would drain your energy out. ! I would say there are more better colleges than Gitam . There will be definitely some learning in Gitam , I'm sure , whatever basic things are expected from an MBA graduate , Gitam provides you with it or whatever little you expect to learn being a part of the course , Gitam would definitely provide you with it. Be a little quick in grasping the subject as its a trimester pattern . You are given loads of assignments almost everyday . Its worth to join Gitam only if a student is willing and is prepared to work hard as its not a cake walk. All the best !
