Median package recorded during MAKAUT BTech and M.Tech placements 2024 was 4.5 LPA. For MBA and MPharm, it was 5 LPA and 2.5 LPA.

Placement rate recorded during MAKAUT BTech placements 2024 was 81%. For MTech, the placement rate in 2024 was 78.2%. In addition, 100% placement was recorded in MPharm and MBA programs.

MAKAUT is a premier public university located in Salt Lake, Kolkata. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), as well as accredited by the NAAC. Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology offers a multiplicity of programs through over 200 affiliated colleges. As oer the NIRF 2024 report, MAKAUT Kolkata is ranked at the band of #101-150.
