Aspirants during the registration process of Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences need to submit some self-attested documents. Below are the set of documents required for BDS and MDS applications:

For BDS

• NEET UG exam admit card
• NEET UG result
• Matriculation or equivalent certificate showing date of birth
• Certificate of having passed Class 12 Examination along with a statement of marks
• Certificate from the Principal of the School on prescribed proforma
• Character Certificate proforma prescribed by CBSE to be issued by the Principal of the school last attended or from any Gazetted officer
• Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe Certificate (if applicable)
• Father’s SC/ST Certificate
• Physically Handicapped certificate (if applicable)
• Entitlement Certificate for CWWAPP category (if applicable)
• OBC Certificate (if applicable)
• Non-creamy layer certificate and OBC caste certificate as per the Central list for OBC’s

For MDS

• Passport-size photograph of the applicant
• Scanned signature of the applicant
• Self-attested copy of High School/ Higher Secondary Certificate for verification of date of birth
• Self-attested copy of the certificate in support of educational qualifications: BDS degree

STEP 1: MAIDS Delhi Application Process 2025

Aspirants after qualifying NEET or NEET MDS have to register for the respective counselling for both 50% DU Quota and 50% All India Quota. Once, students are allotted seat by MCC, they need to register on the official website of Faculty of Medical Sciences, DU. Below is the application fee for BDS and MDS programmes:

STEP 2: Merit List

Faculty of Medical Sciences, DU releases a merit list on the official website of the institute. The institute accepts NEET-UG score for BDS and NEET MDS score for MDS programme. The admission would be made strictly based on merit of the eligible candidates in each category, determined by marks obtained in the NEET or NEET MDS score.

STEP 3: Counselling and Seat Allotment

Shortlisted candidates are further called for counselling. Aspirants are required to select MAIDS BDS or MDS during counselling to get a seat in the institute. Aspirants who have been allotted a seat receive an admission letter. They need to pay a programme fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences admission to MDS is based on NEET MDS score. NEET-qualified candidates must participate in the NEET MDS counselling for seat allocation. 50% of the seats are offered under Delhi State Quota. Remaining 50% of the seats are filled under All India Quota through AIQ counselling. The counselling bodies release merit lists based on the NEET MDS ranks secured by the aspirants.
