4. AICTE/UGC Norms: The selection ensures candidates meet regulatory standards, which include:
   • A Master's degree with a first-class or equivalent grade.
   • A Ph.D. is often preferred, and mandatory for higher positions like Associate Professor and Professor.
   • A National Eligibility Test (NET) or equivalent qualification for entry-level positions (unless a Ph.D. is held).
5. Final Approval: The final appointment decisions are made to ensure the most qualified individuals are selected to foster academic and professional excellence.

The application process for both the BBA and PGDM programs at GIBS Business School can be completed online or offline and involves several distinct steps followed by a selection process.

• Online Application (Recommended):
  1. Visit the official GIBS website and go to the "Admissions" or "Apply Now" section.
  2. Fill out the application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.
  3. Upload scanned copies of all required documents (mark sheets, ID proof, photos, entrance exam scorecard for PGDM, etc.).
  4. Pay the non-refundable application fee online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. The fee is approximately INR 600 for BBA and INR 850 for PGDM.
  5. Submit the application form and keep a printout for your records.
• Offline Application:
  1. Download the application form from the website or collect it in person from the GIBS admissions office.
  2. Fill in the required details manually.
  3. Prepare a Demand Draft (DD) for the application fee in favor of 'GOYAL EDUCATIONAL TRUST', payable at Bangalore.
  4. Send the completed form, relevant documents, and the original DD by speed post/courier to the GIBS postal address.
