Farook Institute of Management Studies does not allow direct entry of students into its MBA. Eligible students are selected according to entrance test scores like CAT, CMAT, or KMAT. An applicant must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks in any discipline from an accredited university. After passing the score in the entrance test, candidates face a group discussion and personal interview in the selection process. Work experience is not mandatory but would add strength to the application.

Fakir Mohan University accepts OJEE score for admission to MBA and MCA courses. Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the OJEE Cell. The exam is conducted once in a year in online mode for two hours. The paper includes multiple-choice questions related to quantitative techniques, verbal reasoning & comprehension, etc.

Valid score in CMAT is good enough to get admitted into the PGP EMBA offered by MET AMDC. The eligibility criteria mention that candidates must hold any undergraduate degree and apply with scores from a variety of entrance exams which include CMAT, aptitude questions, and a Statement of Purpose (SOP).
However, graduating students may also apply, submitting proof of graduation before joining the course. Eligibility is arrived at based on the performance in entrance test and on other considerations too, besides the academic record.
