The cutoff percentage required for MBBS at Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute has seen an upward trend with the passing years. In 2022, the closing rank for MBBS under the general category for all India quota was 642541, In 2023, it increased to 1218878.

50 percent is the major criteira for M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology programme:Bathinda's Adesh University.

The basic qualifications is that an applicants must possess a B.Sc. MLT with a minimum of 50% in the General category, 40% in the SC/BC category, and 45% in the Physically Handicapped category.
