It is an Indian premier institute and the IIT Madras has the best placements of the mechanical engineering and the highest pack for this branch is 1.15 crore per year and the average pack is 15.6 LPA plus perks and the big companies like Honda, Hero, Bajaj etc. Visit this college regularly.

In my opinion, CSE should be the best option as it covers various IT fields it will give a wonderful image of the numerous possibilities in IT fields. To be honest, I have no information about placement at SRM University. The placements are very good in VIT. About 98% students got placed and the remaining will go for abroad for higher studies. And the highest package is 70 LPA Average package is 5 LPA.

Almost 20-30% of the students got placed in the mechanical course. The average salary package offered is close to 10 LPA. L&T, Tech Mahindra, etc. , are the top companies. Almost 50 to 60% of the students from our batch got internships at Royal Enfield and other companies.
