NIT Puducherry offers admissions to the courses on the basis of both, merit and entrance scores. The institute requires entrance exam including JEE Main, IIT JAM, GATE, and DASA UG to offer admission to the courses. To get admission, candidates are required to fulfil the course-specific eligibility laid by the institute.

IIM Shillong admission based on entrance exams. The institute accepts national entrance exams like CAT, WE-MAT,  GMAT, and others. Candidates are shortlisted based on CAT scores, work experience, academic performance, and several other factors. 

I-Business Institute offers entrance-based admission to its PGDM course. Candidates are selected based on scores in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT. The weightage is around 20% for the entrance scores. Apart from this, the selection depends upon below criteria as well:

Kerala University admission based on merit and entrance exams.Admission to the BTech, BArch, BPA, BFA,  and BPEd courses is done through entrance examinations such as KEAM and NATA followed by counselling. Kerala University PG admission is based on entrance examinations. The university accepts GATE, CMAT/ KMAT/ KU CAT,  and KLEE for admission to courses such as MTech, MBA,  and LLM.

MPharm Admission to HNBGU Pauri Campus is entrance based. The institute accepts CUET PG scores for the same. The minimum eligibility is B. Pharm from PCI recognised institute with 55% marks for GEN/OBC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST category. 

Admissions at MPSTME NMIMS, Shirpur is merit based for certain courses and entrance based for the rest. After 10th Diploma and PhD admissions are merit based with the institute accepting Class 10 and PG scores for the same. For entrance based admissions, JEE Main and MHT CET scores are accepted for all UG and PG courses.

The MH BSc Nursing merit list is released at the time of result announcement. The conducting body also issues a scorecard for the candidates. It can be downloaded online through the direct link which is provided on the Shiksha website. 

MBA students at Manipur Institute of Management Studies can receive merit-based awards for outstanding academic performance. These are in form of gold medals or cash awards. Such scholarships are awarded after the declaration of examination results.
