MET marking details is released online. Correct answers will be given four marks. One mark will be cut for incorrect answers in Multiple Choice Questions. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers to Numerical Answer Type Questions.

For MET preparation, students have to know official syllabus. After checking syllabus, they will have to divide subjects and chapters so that they cover everything before exam. Students should also revise every day and practice with mock tests. It is important to prepare study plan.

MET OTBS password will not be sent individually to the students. The OTBS password to access the MET slot booking facility is the student's date of birth, in the DDMMYYYY format. Using the MET OTBS password and application number, they can login and book their slots.

MET 2026 slot booking dates have been announced. Phase 2 slot booking was open until May 11, 2026. Students had to log in and book their preferred MET exam slots before final date.

During preparation, students should check MET syllabus. Through syllabus, they can know topics to study for exam. It will help students plan their studies so that they are prepared for exam.

The level of MET syllabus will be similar to the 12^th standard qualifying exam syllabus. Since most of the topics will be the same as the ones the students studied for the board examination, they are advised to review the syllabus carefully and prepare for the exam.
