A good score in MET will depend on which course and campus the candidates wish to apply for. However, overall the candidates should score 110+ marks out of 240 marks to get a good chance of admission.

According to students, Mathematics is often considered the most difficult section of MET. Since questions are often tough and lengthy, candidates should accordingly prepare well.

MAHE has not changed MET eligibility criteria. Candidates can check official eligibility criteria online before filling application form. Ineligible candidates will be not be considered for admission.

Hi.

  • If there are vacant seats left after the state counselling rounds, MET may offer admission directly through the institute based on merit — but this is only after the official centralised rounds are done.

  • You would typically have to register with the institute's admission cell and meet the eligibility criteria.

  • This is not a completely separate “no eligibility requirement” seat — you still must meet the minimum academic requirements (10+2 science).

MET IMM was awarded with Silver prize in Best Digital Media School category in the Edutainment Awards 2024. MET Mumbai is also awarded with overall Diamond rating by QS I-Gauge. Hence, it is a good institute for candidates wanting to do a PG Diploma course.
