MET Pattern

MET exam pattern is released online. Students will have to complete MET question paper in 2 hours. No extra time will be given to complete exam. Students have to answer 60 questions in exam.

MET will be conducted as an online test. Students will have to report to exam centres. MET will be held in available systems at exam centre. Offline exam will not be held.

The marking scheme of MET exam is as follows

For Multiple Choice Questions: 

• 4 marks will be given for every correct answer
• 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer

For Numerical Answer Type Questions:

• 4 marks will be given for every correct answer
• No marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Through the MET exam pattern, the candidates will be able to know important details such as the mode, duration, type of questions, marking scheme and many such details. Candidates are advised to check the MET exam pattern to know more about the examination and how it will be held.

According to the MET syllabus, candidates must study English, mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The several topics and units of the curriculum that need to be studied for the test are included in the MET syllabus. It should be noted that the MET course will mirror the 12th grade qualifying exam. It is advised that applicants study the official exam pattern to comprehend the division of questions into different sections of the test paper.

MET exam will not be held in Hindi. Candidates can attempt exam only in English. If they have any problems, then they can ask for help from authorities at exam centres.
