As per MET exam pattern, total score is 240. However, for every wrong answer in MCQs, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for NATs.

MAHE conducts MET as an annual exam conducted in two phases. Candidates can attempt one or both phases of exam. If both exam phase is attempted, best score will taken for ranking.

A good score in MET will depend on which course and campus the candidates wish to apply for. However, overall the candidates should score 110+ marks out of 240 marks to get a good chance of admission.

There are no minimum marks required to qualify MET exam. However, candidates have to meet minimum eligibility marks in 12th class for admissions.

Yes, it is compulsory for candidates to attempt English section of MET during exam. By attempting English section, they can score well in exam to qualify for admission.

MAHE has not changed MET eligibility criteria. Candidates can check official eligibility criteria online before filling application form. Ineligible candidates will be not be considered for admission.

MET 2026 registration last date for Phase 2 is April 26, 2026. Candidates can now register for Phase 2 of MET 2026 exam.

Admissions are not guaranteed to students if MET cutoff is met. Since other factors are also involved in allotment, just meeting cutoff may not be enough. However, it will give them higher chances of admission into their preferences.

The MAHE MET Cutoff 2025 has been released branch and institute-wise. For admission to the MPharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis course, the cutoff for the General AI category candidates was 564 in 2025. In 2024, the cutoff for the same course and the same category was 324, and in 2023, it was 448. After analysing the cutoff of different years, we can say that the competition for this course has been fluctuating in the past three years for the General AI category candidates.
