MET 2026 exam date has not been released yet. The exam will be held in two sessions tentatively in April and May 2026. MET will be held as a computer-based test in different slots. Students will have to choose their exam slot through the slot booking process.

The official MET dates will be released online at manipal.edu. Students are advised to stay updated with the official dates, so that they do not miss any important exam or admission related event. The MET official dates will include application, slot booking, admit card, exam, result and counselling dates.

If the students fail to pay the MET application fee, then they will not be considered for the entrance exam. The payment process has to be completed before the final date. After the last date, the authorities will not accept requests to make the payment.

During the MET application process, the students will have to register with basic details. Next, they will have to select their course, and fill out their personal, academic and contact information. The fee has to be paid and the scanned documents have to be uploaded. Finally, the form has to be submitted.

MET 2026 application form has been released. All students will have to fill out and submit the application form before the final date, i.e., March 15, 2026. Before registration, the students should check the eligibility criteria.

Students will have to upload their scanned passport-size photograph in the MET application form. The scanned documents should be 2x2 inches in dimension and maximum 100Kb in file size. The format of the file should be JPEG. If the specification is not met, the file will not be accepted.

After the seats are allotted, the students will have to confirm their admission. The selected students will have to report to their allotted institute to pay the fee and verify their documents for admission confirmation. If the process is not completed before the final date, then their allotment will be cancelled.

MET 2026 seat allotment result dates will be announced soon. To check their seat allotment status, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. Allotment will be done based on the candidate's rank and preferences. Separate allotment results will be released for the different counselling rounds.

The authorities will prepare the MET merit list to select students for admissions into the courses offered by the participating institutes. The performance of the students will be assessed to prepare the MET merit list. Separate merit lists will be prepared for different categories.

Yes, the students will be able to check their obtained scores through the MET result, after they are logged in. However, the result will be downloadable in the form of MET score card. The score card will be needed later during the admission process.
