Mudrsa Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, releases MICAT results online. Candidates can visit the official website to check the MICAT scores. Besides the MICAT scores, MICA also releases the MICAT GE-PI shortlist, and MICAT final results on the official website. Candidates need to provide their login ID and password to access the MICAT results. The login ID and password are same as entered at the time of registration.
Any requests to know MICAT scores or admission status via an email is not entertained by MICA, Ahmedabad.

Yes it is mandatory to take MICAT and clear it to get to the GDPI round.

1)First you need to appear for CAT or XAT
2)Appear for MICAT
3)Participate in GD/PI
So if you take MICAT alone without writing CAT or XAT you will be rejected. Also you need to score a minimum cut off in CAT or XAT as well as in MICAT.
So your basic aptitude will be checked by using CAT or XAT scores. So the purpose of MICAT is to check the Divergent Thinking Abilities, Written Communication Abilities, General Awareness about contemporary social and business issues, including areas relevant to media, marketing, advert

This time,MICAT will have the following sections:
• Verbal Reasoning
• Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
• Psychometric Section
• Logical Reasoning
• Creative Writing
• General Awareness and Current Affairs
As you must be aware, there is no weightage to your CAT/XAT/GMAT scores and all evaluation will be done on the basis of your MICAT performance.
