Every new student is eligible for scholarship. Scholarship is provided to 5% students every year. Selection is done by Interview Panel of university. It is based on the financial background and needs of a student. Along with this, academic performance is also a major factor. Full or partial scholarship is provided to students.

All students who have taken fresh admissions are eligible to apply for scholarship. The university provides scholarship to 5% of all new students every year. Selection of students for scholarship is done by university. The selection depends on financial needs and academic performance of students. Scholarship is provided as full or partial tuition fee waiver.

No, you will not be considered if you do not meet MITID criteria. Candidate must meet cutoff criteria in their categories to get admission in MITID DAT 2026. If they fail to meet the cut-off, he or she will not be considered for admission.

MIT Institute of Design offers three years MDes programme under fourteen specialisation. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in the specific specialisation which is required to apply for the MDes specialisation they want to pursue. For example: candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Fine/ Applied Arts, Visual Comunnication, Media etc. in order to apply in MDes in Graphic and Animation Design. MIT Institute of Design offers three three-year BDes programme under eleven specialisation. Candidates who have passed class 12th from any stream (HSC, CBSE, ICSE, IB) are eligible for the BDes programme. Further, candidates are required to go through the two-phase admission procedure. The first phase is to pass the Institute-based entrance test i.e. MIT DAT (MIT Design Aptitude Test). The second phase revolves around personal interviews and studio tests.
