To be eligible for MIT-WPU B.Tech programs, candidates must meet the following criteria:
For B.Tech programs, candidates should have a minimum of 50% aggregate score in PCM/PCB or Physics & Mathematics with any Technical Vocational Subject in 10+2/Class 12th, with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology or Biology/Technical Vocational Courses. Additionally, a minimum of 50% aggregate score in Class 12th/HSC is required.

To be considered for admission at MIT-WPU, candidates must take the MIT-WPU entrance exam. The majority of MIT-WPU admissions are based on the results of the MIT-WPU CET, a national-level/state-level entrance exam. After taking the entrance exam, students must also participate in the university-level selection rounds for final admission. The admission criteria for popular courses at MIT-WPU, including eligibility and selection process, are outlined in the table below. Aspirants must pass bachelor's degree of 3/4 years with at least 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for reserved category candidates of Maharashtra) to apply for MBA at MIT-WPU, Pune.
Candidates must pass graduation in Civil Engineering/ Construction Engineering/ Infrastructure Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Architecture or Allied branches with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for reserved category candidates from Maharashtra) for MBA in Construction Management.
