MMC Eligibility

The eligibility requirement for a Masters in Mass Communication is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate marks of 50%. This makes the field accessible to students from multiple academic backgrounds that too including arts, commerce, and science.

Most of the universities do not require a prior degree in either Media or even Journalism which also helps the students who are coming from non-media backgrounds. Admission is generally based on an entrance exam, which assesses general knowledge, aptitude, and writing skills rather than subject-specific knowledge, ensuring a level playing field for all applicants.

• Age should not be more than 30 years at the time of admission.
• The students should have a good command over the English language.
• The students should have interest in mass communication and media.

• Appearing for the entrance exam
• Interview (may be conducted for some colleges)
