MMS Eligibility

Eligibility criteria for Masters in Management Studies (MMS) programme at Sri Venkateswara Institute of Management Studies and Research (SVIMS), Mumbai are as follows:

1. The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a subject with at least 50% marks (45% marks in reserved classes)
2. Applicants must pass one of the following entrance exams: ATMA, CAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT or any other entrance exam accepted by the institute.
3. Awarded candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The selection criteria for admission to MMS programme of SVIMS is based on merit and entrance exams and after that the candidates require counseling and allotment of seats.

In just two years, the MMS programme at Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies has established itself as truly exceptional. Upon successful completion, The student receives an MMS degree from the University of Mumbai. The duration of MMS course is 2 years. It is approved by AICTE, recognised by DTE, Govt. of Maharashtra and affiliated to University of Mumbai. Total seat intake is 120 which are divided as follow:

The eligibility criteria for MMS part-time programme is given below:

1. The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any faculty from any University recognised by AICTE.

2. The candidate should have acquired minimum of two years of work experience, at a supervisory / executive level, after graduation, the experience is counted from the day subsequent to the date printed on the marksheet of the degree examination passed.

3. Candidates are required to furnish the Work Experience Certificate (s) from their employer (s), totalling upto two years, in the format laid down as Exhibit - A (refer to page no. 14 of the Part-Time MMS Prospectus). This is of critical importance and applications not accompanied by the above information are likely to be rejected.
