Most of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) in India conduct placement drives for their students from December first week to March last week in different phases. Almost all the renowned companies from across the globe visit the NIT campuses to recruit engineering and other graduates. The average package of students in top NITs in India usually ranges from Rs 10-15 Lacs per annum whereas, for other NITs, it is between Rs 5-10 Lacs per annum.
