Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers admission to most of the UG and PG courses based on entrance exam scores. The institute considers scores in national or state-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, JKCET, JEE Main, CUET-UG, etc. for admission to specific programmes. The institute also conducts MIET Entrance Test to select candidates for most of the UG and PG courses.

No, aspirants cannot get admission at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology without entrance exam scores. Aspirants are shortlisted for MCA based on their CUET-PG or MIET Entrance Test scores. Candidates need to pass JKCET, JEE Main or CUET for BTech, GATE for M.Tech and CAT, MAT or CMAT for MBA programmes. The institute also accepts scores in CLAT for admission to BBA LLB (Hons) and LLB (Hons).
