Model Institute of Engineering and Technology offers fifteen undergraduate and posgraduate courses in multiple streams and specialisations. The institute offers two flagship courses and they are MBA and BTech CSE. Apart from aforementioned courses, MIET offerd BA LLB, BCA, MCA, MTech, LLB, BBA LLB, BBA, BCom courses. Admission to all the MIET Jammu courses entrance-based. The institute accepts national-level and state-level entrance exam to shortlists candidates form admission.

Admission to MIET college Jammu is entrance-based. Candidates must have a valid score of relevant entrance exam to secure admission at Model Institute of Engineering and Technology. Apart from entrance exam, aspirants must also meet the eligibility criteria of their desired course. The college accepts scores in JEE Main, CUET, CAT, CMAT, etc. for admission to specific programmes. Besides, the institute also conducts MET for admission to UG and PG courses.
