Admission in government college through merit is hard but if you eligible for any university and course wise then you prepared for entrance exam you can get the admission in government colleges.
In engineering colleges, the minimum eligibility is that you must have qualified your class 12th examination with PCM subjects and secured a minimum of 50% and in some colleges it is 55%. For NITs, IITs, IIITs, and GFTIs minimum requirement is 75% aggregate in class 12th.

You need to have at least 70% in bcom to be eligible for mcom admission in Delhi university. You also need to appear for entrance exams in order to avail a seat here.

Candidates having a degree of Graduation with at least 50% marks in any discipline are eligible to apply forMcom/ MBA degree. For MCA Candidate with BCA/Bachelor Degree in computer Science or equivalent. Degree or passed B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. With Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level with additional bridge course as per university norms. 50% marks 40% for reserved categoryare eligible to apply.

Wait for the second counselling, if you couldn't get your preferred choice then according to me
take the best out of them, because after you will pass 6 months of your medical College, then the past things like, I didn't get my preferred college, will stop coming to mind. You will indulge in your studies and will enjoy your college life.
