Students are accepted into the B.Sc. (Biotechnology, Chemistry) program at Mount Carmel College based on their performance in the 12th grade. There are only forty students selected for admission in this course at MCC.
You need to have more than 75% to be shortlisted for the admission process at MCC. The college publishes the list of shortlisted students for the course after the application process is over. As per the latest data, you need to have 90% to make it to the merit list for BSc (Biotechnology and Chemistry).

To taking admitted to Mount Carmel College for BBA you need to get a minimum of 60% in college.
Also, you have to give an entrance exam called MCMAT.

The Mount Carmel College offers admission to its MBA course on the basis of the Karnataka-PGCET and KMAT exams. The cutoff for admission to the latest batch of MBAs was as follows:
1. The K PGCET cutoff rank was around 2719 for the general category.
2. It was around 13681 for ST and under 7,000 for other categories.
3. The KMAT percentile for general categories was higher than the 85 percentile.
4. It was above the 75 percentile for other categories.

Good evening Sam,
The cut-off for BBA for Carmelites is 75 and for the others, it is 80. There is a lesser cut-off for catholic students as it is a catholic college. I feel the process should be done a little faster. "Once a Carmelite always a Carmelite." Application forms are available online and need to be filled out and submitted online.

It depends on the cutoff criteria of colleges because there are different cutoffs for different colleges. in Mount Carmel College Bangalore, there is no cutoff for taking admission in BBA, you have to score more than 50% in 12th to apply for this course. There will be an entrance exam and an interview for the selection.
