Hi Shreesha, Multimedia - It is simple the use of a variety of artistic or communicative media. This includes text, graphic, audio, video etc. VFX (Visual Effects) - Visual Effects (abbreviated VFX) are the processes by which imagery is created and/or manipulated outside the context of a live action shot. Like you've seen Spiderman, Superman etc. In movies and comics they were not real but after watching films we take it as real. So how come they got such powers and all that its basically visual effects. In VFX we animate live things or you can say live characters. We put live things to motion. Pattern takes into count your best of 4 scores (including maths), then there is this MCQ test on English and maths (class 8-12)
Now, what they do is that they add your best of 4 score to the score you obtain in the test!
And to finish it off, the cut off generally varies around 65-70 (all together) /100!
So, best of luck man for the test and do keep yourself updated with the Xavier's website for any possible change in the examination pattern!
If you need any kind of further assistance regarding these matters, you may freely ask!

You can try for following courses for which eligibility is at least 10th pass. Diploma in Animation Film Making
Advance Diploma In Animation & VFX
Diploma in Animation
Diploma In 3D Graphics
Advance Diploma in Visual Effects
10th standard passed students are eligible to pursue some Diploma and Certificate courses only. 10+2 passed is the minimum requirement to pursue Bachelors Degree as well as some of the Professional Diploma courses. Regards.
