Once you qualify a B.Sc. Nursing entrance examination, the process of completing the admission will follow by the next step generally involved in the activity are counselling, verification of documents, and payment of fee. The minimum qualification for all the B.Sc. Nursing courses is not an entrance exam, there are colleges where admission is done directly on the basis of your 10+2 marks (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), which includes both the private colleges as well as deemed universities. Nonetheless, the majority of the government colleges and prestigious institutions do require such an exam as NEET, AIIMS Nursing, or state entrance

| GNM | Candidate's minimum age must be 17 years and maximum age must be 35 years as on 31-Dec-2023. |
| MD | In order to become eligible for counseling, candidate must have obtained minimum 50 percentile for General category (40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC (including PWD of SC/ST/OBC) and 45 percentile for UR PWD) in NEET PG. |
| B.Sc. (Post Basic) | Candidates should be registered as Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM). Candidates should possess a three-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in the profession (after registration as RNRM). |
