Level of maths questions asked in the NATA exam is mostly at HSC level. Please find below topics covered in the NATA syllabus (maths Section) for 2018 which should give you a brief idea about the level of maths required for the NATA entrance exam.
Topics covered:
1) Algebra
2) Logarithms
3) Matrices
4) Trigonometry
5) Coordinate geometry
6) Dimensional Co-ordinate geometry
7) Theory of Calculus
8) Application of Calculus
9) Permutation and combination
10) Statistics and Probability
Most of these topics are covered in class 11 and class 12 studies or HSC level.

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, I.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, I.e. EXAM PATTERN
The Council of Architecture determines the NATA exam pattern. NATA is conducted in an offline mode and it is a three-hour exam in which multiple choice questions are asked from maths and general aptitude. Candidates will have to undertake a drawing test which will be of 90 minutes.
2 marks are awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking.
Candidates have to select the correct answer by coloring the bubble in the OMR sheet by using a black and blue pen.
