VIT B.Arch Admission 2018 will be done on the basis of the NATA exam. The architecture course would be of 5 years at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore Campus only. National Aptitude Test in Architecture NATA is a national level examination to select the candidates for admission to the B.Arch programme in top institutes in India. Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is a five years undergraduate programme, which can be started after 10+2 with minimum 50% marks. This course is designed to produce licensed and professional architects who are authorized to do private constructions and government constructions. Purpose of the NATA entrance exam is to secure Admission in top architecture colleges for 5-year B.Arch degree course.

JEE Main Paper 2-
The exam is conducted by CBSE.
The exam is conducted for admission in Architecture colleges including NITs.
The exam is of 390 marks
NATA Is also a Architecture field entrance exam provides admission in other Architecture colleges.
The exam is of 200 marks.

Yes, you can. Following is the eligibility criteria for NATA:
1. 10+2 or equivalent passed/appearing with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination.
2. 10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/appearing recognized by Central/State Government with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination. For more details about the exam, please refer to this link https://www.shiksha.com/architecture-planning/exams/nata.
