Eligibility (B.Arch)
The duration of the course is 5 years and to get admission into B.Arch. the student must be fulfilled the following conditions:
10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks along with compulsory subject of mathematics.
10th + 3 years diploma in any stream from a recognized university/ board/ institution.
Cleared NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with the 80% marks conducted by Council of Architecture

Hello Harlin,
For admission in B. Arch at VIT University you need to write only NATA exam. The admission is also based on the same. VITEEE is only for engineering admissions.

Eligiblility to appear for NATA 2018:
The lower age limit for appearing in NATA-2018 has been waived. However, the candidate has to comply with any age constraints that may be specified by respective counselling/ admission authority.
10+2 or equivalent passed/appearing with mathematics as one of the subjects of examination.
10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/appearing recognized by Central/State govt. with mathematics as one of the subjects of examination.

If you think you need to drop a year you should definitely take a gap of one year and register for coaching to clear your NATA/JEE Mains-2 papers. However, you should only take this path if you feel you will be unable to cope with preparations during or after your +2 level of schooling. Good Luck!!
