No, direct admission is not valid at NIBM Pune. Admission to PG course at NIBM is entirely entrance-based. Candidate need to qualify for respective entrance exam, followed by PI round to be able to secure seat at the college.

The admission process for NIBM Pune is consists of mulitple rounds. Candidates are shortlisted based on their past academic merit, scores of entrance exams and performance in Personal Interview round. Aspirants need to qualify for either CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GRE or GMAT with a valid score to be shortlisted for admission to PGDM programme. The exam qualified candidates finalised based on the following selection parameters:

  • Personal Interview
  • Oral Communication Test
  • Academic Performance
  • Participation in extracurricular activities
  • Work experience

As per the last year's admission schedule, NIBM Pune admissions begin in the month of November. The applications process wraps up till the month of April. Moreover, the selection process gets completed by the Mid June.

Hi,
You need to crack CAT and CMAT, that too above 95 percentile and have to crack the interview too. Mostly in the interviews, they are going to ask about your experience and if it suits their college then you are surely in.
