For NIELIT Gorakhpur M.Tech Admissions, applications are accepted from GATE and non-GATE-qualified applicants. According to valid GATE Scores, a merit list is created for GATE candidates, and those on the list are given direct admission. For candidates who have not taken the GATE or AKTU PG Entrance Exams, the institute additionally administers an Institute Level Test post which the shortlisted students are invited for the counseling.
