IIT Ropar's B.Tech eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Candidates must have achieved a minimum of 75% overall in class 12 (or similar) board exams. Maths, Physics, and Chemistry are mandatory subjects for the board examination.
Note: 65% for the candidates of PwD, ST/SC.
OR
- With Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as required subjects, candidates must be in the top 20 percentile of their respective class 12 (or similar) board examination.
- For admission to both B.Tech and B.Tech+M.Tech programmes, candidates must be JEE qualified.

No, National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kolkata is a top institute of Kolkata and if offers almost all courses are at affordable fee. Fees structure for UG course is near around 20k to 50k per year, it is depending on the course and duration. Apart form tuition fee there are other expenses also during studies and if hostel is included 80k will be added in expenses so total cost for one year can be 1 lakh. National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology offers long-term and short-term courses and certifications in the field of Computer Applications. There is not any PG course or any management course avilable at NIELIT Kolkata. Jaypee Business School is a constituent unit of JIIT.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology kolkata offers O-level, A-level and B-level courses in the fields of Information Technology and Bio-Informatics. Admisssions in O-level, A-level and B-level courses are done basis the NIELIT entrance exam merit which get conducted in October. First round starts with above 70 marks for UG courses in general category. National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology kolkata is a government institute all courses are affordable and fees just range between 5k to 50k depends on course and duration. UG courses like BBA at NIELIT has anual fees of 50k and if you stay at hostel because institute do not offer facility of hostel so private hostel. Hostel in kolkata will cost 80k anually with mess, anual cost of studing will be around 1.3 LPA and for 3 years it go up to total 4 LPA for BBA course.
Overall cost of BBA course is 4 LPA but ROI of institute is good so this cost will be recovered in just one year.

Admissions in National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kolkata are take through merit basis in NIELIT enterance exam. Results of exams will be out in decemnber 2023 and after thet counselling starts in Jan 24, there are total 4 rounds in counselling and all rounds take one month of time. There are 3 full rounds and they are online and 4th one is mop up round which hapen offline at institute level.

Yes, you can get into NIELIT but 12th class is just an eligibility criteria. National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Kolkata has eligibility criteria of 50% marks in 10th and 12th or in ITI. With 12th qualification you can get admission in O level courses, they are beginners courses in IT. Candidate must have to appear West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) exam. for further A and B level course graduation is must.
