Candidates seeking admission to the BDes programme of NIFT Bangalore have to appear for the NIFT Entrance test that comprises of CAT and GAT. The eligibility criteria for NIFT is mentioned below:

Qualifying exam: NIFT Entrance Exam

Class 12 in any stream or equivalent from a recognised board

Or

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / International Baccalaureate (IB)

Age limit: Less than 24 years as on August 1 of the year of Admission. 5 years of relaxation for SC/ST/ PwD category candidates
