Bachelor of Arts (Hons) at National Sanskrit University is a three-years (six/eight semesters) course at UG level. One who exits at the end of the first year will be issued Certificate in the specialised and concerned subjects. One who exits at the end of second year will be issued a Diploma in the specialised and concerned subjects.

There are 22 seats are available for BA (Hons) course at NSU Tirupati. This UG course has a total duration of three-years. NSU BA (Hons) tuition fee is INR 2,550. Also, there is a one-time admission fee that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee. NSU BA courses accepts the admission on the basis of an entrance examination CUET.

The student must have obtained more than 60% aggregate score (General), 55% (OBC) and 50% (SC/ST/Divine Body) or equivalent grade. Students must have opted for the subject i.e. Sanskrit/Pali in the present class of study for which they have applied for the scholarship. The university has the right to withdraw or disqualify any student to draw the scholarship at any point of time due to misbehavior.

There are several documents required at the time of NSU application process. The general documents requirement includes provisional/original pass certificates of the last qualifying examination, score obtained in each examination right from Matriculation/SSC/OSLC to the last qualifying examination, date of birth certificate, study certificate, caste certificate, conduct certificate.

The admission to B.Sc at Rastriya Sanskrit vidyapeeth is given on the basis of CUET (Common University Entrance Test) UG.
Alongwith it for admission to B.Sc, the minimum percentage requirement is:
- At least 50% marks aggregate in 10+2 examination.
- Relaxation of 5% marks for students belonging to ST/SC category
- Passing the required entrance exam with qualifying marks.

For admission to Rastriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, candidates must qualify for the Combined Sanskrit Entrance Test (CSET) for undergraduate programs like B.Sc .
Admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate programs are based on the CUET UG and CUET PG exam scores respectively, as well as a personal interview is also conducted.

Rastriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth places less emphasis on placements and more emphasis on delivering high_quality instruction in the fields of Sanskrit and Indology. As a results, the university neither offers Campus placements nor maintains an official placement unit.
