National Sanskrit University has not released the 2023 placement details yet. However, as per the students’ reviews on the Shiksha page, 90% of the recent batch was successfully placed. The NSKTU BA highest package offered during the recent placements stood at INR 9.60 LPA.

National Sanskrit University BA admission 2024 is based on scores obtained by candidates in the CUET exam. Under the National Education Policy, BA programmes of NSKTU are designed with multiple exit options. Candidates seeking admission to BA at National Sanskrit University are required to pass Class 12 exams.

Candidates who get admission to the BA programme at National Sanskrit University are required to pay the NSKTU BA fees according to the fee structure mentioned below:

Bachelor of Arts (Hons) at National Sanskrit University is a three-years (six/eight semesters) course at UG level. One who exits at the end of the first year will be issued Certificate in the specialised and concerned subjects. One who exits at the end of second year will be issued a Diploma in the specialised and concerned subjects.

There are 22 seats are available for BA (Hons) course at NSU Tirupati. This UG course has a total duration of three-years. NSU BA (Hons) tuition fee is INR 2,550. Also, there is a one-time admission fee that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee. NSU BA courses accepts the admission on the basis of an entrance examination CUET. 

The student must have obtained more than 60% aggregate score (General), 55% (OBC) and 50% (SC/ST/Divine Body) or equivalent grade. Students must have opted for the subject i.e. Sanskrit/Pali in the present class of study for which they have applied for the scholarship. The university has the right to withdraw or disqualify any student to draw the scholarship at any point of time due to misbehavior.

There are several documents required at the time of NSU application process. The general documents requirement includes provisional/original pass certificates of the last qualifying examination, score obtained in each examination right from Matriculation/SSC/OSLC to the last qualifying examination, date of birth certificate, study certificate, caste certificate, conduct certificate.

NSU online application fee is INR 200. Application form can be filled through both online and offline. For online application, candidates should visit the NSU official website and check the admission portal of the website. Candidates are recommended to keep a hard copy of the application format for future usage.

The admission fee is INR 1000 for UG programmes, and INR 2000 for PG and doctoral programmes. The admission is given on the basis of CUET entrance exam.

Few entrance exams are conducted by National Sanskrit University (Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth). The exam is based on the syllabus of the programme you are applying for. The interview is conducted by a panel of experts from the university. The interview is designed to assess your academic ability and your motivation for studying Sanskrit.
