Indian Navy Selection Procedure on the basis of JEE Main 2019
Once the registration will close, applicants will be shortlisted for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview on the basis of JEE Main AIR (All India Rank). Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their SSB interview via E-mail or SMS as details provided by them in their application form. The SSB interview is conducted in 2 stages I. e. Stage I- group discussion, intelligence test, and picture perception test. Stage II- This test will last for four days and consists of psychological testing, group testing and interview. If candidates qualify stage II, they will undergo Medical Examination that lasts approximately 03-05 days. The training is scheduled to start in the month of January. The Indian Navy will bear the entire cost of training. Free clothing and mess service will also be provided to the cadets.

AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) is an entrance test for aspirants willing to join Indian Air Force as Commissioned Officer in Flying, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical). The examination is conducted twice a year in February and August. The test is conducted all across India by the Indian Air Force. AFCAT Eligibility for Flying Duty: - Minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level.
Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Or, BE/B.Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. So, you are not eligible for AFCAT. Now, for Indian Navy the requirement is class 12th with PCM, if you wants to go through the NDA (National Defence Academy) entrance exam. So, class 12th commerce students are not eligible here.

The admission procedure for B.Sc. In Nautical Science is not as simplistic as other undergraduate courses:
* First thing would be to shortlist a maritime institute or college that matches your location, financial capabilities, and other relevant preferences. * Next step would be to clear the entrance exam (if any) as conducted by the university or college. * The test is followed by a string of medical tests and psychometric examinations to assess the candidate's physical feasibility for the course. * Once the candidate clears all the tests, he or she may need to undergo a brief pre-sea training programme before admission is confirmed.
