Working on cargo ships, tankers, container ships, etc.

make sure of the cargo safety

Navigate ship

Maintaining ship machine and tools.

Look after loading & unloading

Merchant Navy is a good choice if you like sea and want experience in it. 

This career gives many benefits that make it a desirable option. Salaries are also good and even tax free if you spend a good amount of time at sea.

Some common eligibility criteria for Merchant Navy courses are as follows:

  • Candidates must be 16–25 years old

  • Students must have at least 40% marks in 10th

  • Candidates have to be medically fit with good eyesight (no color blindness)
