The admission form must be downloaded from the NBN Sinhgad School of Engineering website in order to apply. In addition to a demand draft of INR 1000 made payable to the Sinhgad Technical Education Society, Pune candidates fill out the form and mail it to the institute. Following MHT-CET or JEE Main aspirants register for B.E. through the CAP portal. Candidates for M.E. programs must have a valid GATE score and adhere to the same CAP procedure making sure that all paperwork is turned in accordance with DTE regulations.

With renowned recruiters like TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini providing compensation averaging INR 3.5–4 LPA it provides B.E. programs with a respectable placement rate of 70–80%. Modern amenities on the 5-acre campus include a library and laboratory. Despite the experience of the faculty several students complain about the uneven level of instruction.
