The eligibility for age: Candidates born on and after 1st July 1997 are eligible to take the exam. Still, there are other universities which offer a degree in hotel management viz IIHM-Aurangabad.

IHM-Rohtak would be a better choice considering many factors.

There is no need for any special book. Then entrance is at most with par to your 10 standard syllabus, and you need to know some GK on hotels and tourism. Previous year questions are also available.

NCHMCT conducts examinations for various UG courses affiliated with IGNOU for its IHMs, SIHMs and private colleges. All the IHMs and SIHMs are central and state government colleges respectively. Hence, if you cleared the NCHMCT JEE exam, you will get Government College if opted in counseling. Good luck.
