It is still possible for candidates to get admitted to IHM Silvassa's courses without taking the NCHMCT JEE. The main eligibility criteria for admission to the BSc programme are grades and NCHMCT JEE rank. To be eligible for Certificate courses, candidates must have completed Class 12. Candidates are admitted directly based only on their qualifications and merit for the Certification programmes.

Admission to IHM Panipat's courses is possible even if a candidate does not appear for NCHMCT JEE. Admission to the BSc programme is mostly determined on the rank and grades obtained in the NCHMCT JEE. To be eligible for courses, candidates must have completed Class 12. Candidates can get direct admission solely through their eligibility and merit in the UG Diploma courses.

Candidates without NCHMCT JEE can be admitted to IHM Gangtok's courses. Mainly, the rank and grades earned in the NCHMCT JEE determines the admission to the BSc programme. Candidates must have cleared Class 12 to be eligible for courses. Candidates must take the NCHMCT JEE for admission to the BSc programme, other courses do not require the entrance.

Yes, Mai Institute of Hotel Management accepts NCHMCT JEE scores for admission to BSc programme. Aspirants seeking admission in BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration have to appear for NCHMCT JEE before applying at the institute. The JEE takes place in the last week of April every year followed by the announcement of result in the third week fo May.

No, admission to central and state government Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) is strictly based on qualifying the NCHMCT JEE exam. Candidates must meet the required cutoff and participate in the centralized counselling process conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management. Without qualifying the exam, you cannot secure a seat in government IHMs. However, some private hotel management colleges offer admissions through direct entry or institute-level exams. The NCHMCT JEE merit list is an All India ranking of candidates based on their scores in the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination. Prepared by the National Testing Agency (NTA), it determines eligibility for admission into B.Sc. programs in Hospitality and Hotel Administration at participating Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs). In cases where candidates have identical scores, tie-breaking criteria are applied:
- Higher marks in the English section.
- If still tied, higher marks in the Service Aptitude section.
