The expected cutoff for this year is around 710-720 marks out of 1800 for final selection. For last 5 years the cutoff is as:

  • 2022: 343-355
  • 2021: 355
  • 2020: 355
  • 2019: 342-346
  • 2018: 338-325
  • 2017: 342-258

Thats for some previous year cut off but sources indicate that this year's cutoff is expected to be more than 720 in the final selection. Best of luck !

Yes, you are eligible for the NDA 1 exam in 2026. Candidates born between 2nd July 2007 and 1st July 2010 can apply, and being in the SC category does not affect your eligibility.

A extremely tough screening process makes it particularly difficult to get admission to the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune for a B.Tech. Before being considered for admission, candidates must pass the Union Public Service Commission's (UPSC) National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination, which evaluates their general ability and mathematical skills. Interviews with the Service Selection Board (SSB) assess candidates' general aptitude, leadership abilities, and physical and psychological fitness after the written exam. To gain admission, candidates must prepare thoroughly and perform extraordinarily well due to the dema

The overall fee of B.Tech at National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune will be around INR 55,560. Apart from this, during the entire B.Tech course NDA gives pocket money of INR 2,500 per month to a B.TECH student for five months in a calender year. The support is set up for cadets to cover their costs of living while they are training. No tuition, no room and board charges: the fee structure is based ultimately on those designed to provide cadets with as few distractions from their rigorous academic schedule (or military training) due to financial issues.

No, candidates are not allowed to get admission into BTech courses at NDA Pune without the NDA entrance exam. NDA Pune BTech admissions are done on the basis of valid scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam conducted by UPSC. Even, the institute does not accept any other competitive exam scores for BTech admission, except NDA.
